About us

BHF was built on a simple premise: if you want rugged, industrial-grade jewelry that doesn't feel flimsy or mass-produced, you have to build it yourself.

Who’s Behind the Bench

My name is Tony. Coming from a career as an industrial maintenance technician, my day job meant keeping everything running—from high-speed automated sortation systems and robotics to industrial sewing machines and everything in between.

I was never satisfied with the jewelry available for men—or at least, the stuff meant for people who actually work with their hands. Most of it felt lightweight, fragile, or hollow. So, I started making my own.

From the Shop Floor to the Anvil

What started as a simple 3-strand braided copper cuff quickly spiraled into a search for heavier, more complex designs. Trying to lock heavy cable designs together with silver solder always felt like a compromise, and I never liked the look or strength of hard-soldered joints on thick stock.

So, I brought shop-floor engineering to the bench: I stopped soldering and started TIG welding.

By autogenously TIG welding solid copper wire with zero filler rod, I found a way to fuse heavy 10 and 12-gauge strands into seamless, indestructible solid-copper end terminals. Today, BHF is a mix of raw, structural metalwork, heavy-gauge copper cuffs, and the occasional super silly shop build—all designed, cold-formed, welded, and finished by hand.

No soft alloys, no plated metals, and no shortcuts. Just built to outlast you and me.
