Maximum weight, maximum presence — this thick-rope copper cuff is hand-twisted from six strands of heavy 10-gauge solid copper wire into a dense, high-relief weave that commands attention on the wrist. What makes it truly yours: choose your end finish — raw TIG-fused bare wire terminals for an industrial, straight-from-the-forge look, or mirror-polished copper pipe caps for a bold, framed statement. Either way, the body is torch-annealed, softly planished between hardwood blocks for a smooth profile, and finished with a forced antique patina and hand-buffed highlights.

Heavy-Duty Industrial Build
Forged for maximum weight and wrist presence, this cuff combines six individual strands of solid 10 AWG copper wire. The assembly is tightly twisted under tension to form a thick, symmetrical rope structure with deep geometric channels.

Choose Your Terminal Style
Select your preferred end finish from the options above:

  • TIG-Fused Bare Ends: The wire strands are heat-welded directly into seamless, rounded solid copper terminals, preserving the raw, industrial flow of the weave.
  • TIG-Welded Copper Pipe Caps: Heavy-walled copper tubing is fitted over the wire ends and TIG-welded into a single, solid piece. Hand-polished to a mirror finish, these caps provide a bold, framed contrast against the antiqued body.

Planished Comfort & Patina Finish
The body of the cuff is torch-annealed and softly planished between hardwood faces to flatten the outer high points, ensuring a smooth profile that won't catch on clothing or pull arm hair. A forced antiqued patina deepens the recessed grooves, while selective hand-buffing brings the outer ridges to a bright metallic shine.

🖐 How to Find Your Size

  1. Wrap a piece of string or paper snugly (just slightly snug) around your wrist bone.

  2. Mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat against a ruler.

  3. Order your exact wrist measurement—don't add extra room. The 1-inch gap built into the cuff gives you the clearance you need to put it on.

🔧 Wearing & Adjusting

  • Putting it on: Roll the cuff on from the side of your wrist just above the bone. Don't yank it open to pull it straight over your arm.

  • Dialing in the fit: Give the cuff a gentle, firm squeeze once to set it to your wrist. Avoid bending it open and closed repeatedly so the copper stays rock-solid.

✨ Care & Maintenance

Keep your copper cuff looking its best with simple daily care:

  • Avoid Lotions & Oils: Moisture, harsh chemicals, body lotions, and skincare oils speed up oxidation and cause skin discoloration (greening). Put your cuff on after applying cosmetics.

  • Daily Wipe Down: After wearing, wipe the interior and exterior down with a soft, clean cloth to remove skin oils and sweat before storing.

  • Light Cleaning: If soiled, wash with mild dish soap and warm water using a soft-bristled brush (like a soft toothbrush) to clear buildup from the weave.

  • Rinse & Dry Thoroughly: Rinse completely with clean water, dry thoroughly with a towel, and buff with a soft cloth to restore shine.

Copper & Skin Oxidation

🌿 A Note on Copper & Skin Oxidation

Pure, solid copper naturally reacts with air, moisture, and your body’s unique chemistry (such as sweat and natural skin oils). Over time, this natural oxidation can leave a harmless, temporary greenish mark on the skin where the cuff rests.

  • Why It Happens: This green tint is copper carbonate — a safe, natural byproduct of pure copper reacting with micro-moisture, skin pH, or everyday products like soaps, lotions, and cologne. It is non-toxic, completely harmless, and easily washes away with regular soap and water.
  • Our Process: We seal every piece with a protective coat of microcrystalline wax to preserve the shine and slow down oxidation. However, depending on your body chemistry and wear habits, the wax will gradually wear off, allowing the copper to develop its own rich, natural character and patina.
  • Minimizing Greening: To keep skin marking to a minimum, keep your wrist dry, avoid wearing your cuff while applying lotions or cosmetics, and wipe the inside down with a clean, soft cloth after daily wear.
